2020 Earth Day Challenge
Celebrate this 50th Earth Day with the Earth Day Challenge 5K, 1 mile and festival at Mt. Brighton on Saturday, June 6th from 9am-1pm!  Our 5k is different in that our focus is on our planet: proceeds benefit local environmental nonprofit organizations, we strive to be a zero landfill event, provide each runner with a tree to plant, in lieu of the traditional finisher medal, we instead hand out a sustainable gift - and of course our awards are sustainable, created from a lightning struck tree!

Our Earth Day Village (collection of eco friendly businesses and nonprofits) creates a festival atmosphere following the race, with family friendly activities, feathery visitors from the Howell Nature Center, brief sustainability speakers and winning artwork from the Our Changing Climate Art Show on display with awards presentation.

  • Yoga warm-up 9:30 a.m.
