Milford High School invites you to Run for Pie! We will be hosting a 5K chip-timed race on Sunday, May 19 to raise funds for our Communications Camp. After the race enjoy a piece of pie from Jeni’s Ugly Pies of Highland, MI. Funds raised through this 5K race will help pay for student scholarships and other costs associated with Camp. We will run rain or shine. Packet pickup at the MHS concession stand 7:30 am until 8:15 am.

At Communications Camp students learn to effectively communicate ideas and feelings through a step-by-step process. They learn how to examine their own communication skills, their progression with these skills, and the improvement of the learning environment. The goal of communication training is to promote tolerance, appreciation, and understanding among students and staff. Communications Camp has proven to be an effective tool for not only improving students’ communications skills, but for helping students from various social backgrounds to understand and respect each other.

The race will start on the track.
